How It Works
One-time setup. After that, updating your calendar takes under a minute.
1
Download your schedule PDF from the RI Judiciary Public Portal. On iPhone or iPad, save it to your Files app first.
2
Drop the PDF above. MyDocketSync reads every appearance, removes duplicates, and organizes them into your calendar.
3
Review your schedule. After uploading, your appearances are displayed in a checklist. Each event has a checkbox — checked events will be published to your calendar, unchecked events will be skipped. Use Select All or Deselect All to manage them in bulk, or tap individual checkboxes to include or exclude specific hearings.
4
Normalize Times toggle. At the top of your event list you’ll see a “Normalize times” toggle. When turned on, this sets all District Court appearances to 9:00 AM and all Superior Court appearances to 9:30 AM — useful when your PDF shows a generic time that doesn’t reflect your actual appearance slot.
5
Removing a cancelled or continued event. If a hearing gets cancelled or continued after you’ve already published, simply re-upload your PDF, uncheck that event, and hit Publish again. MyDocketSync will replace your calendar entries for that date range — the unchecked event will be removed and all other dates will remain untouched.
6
Publish to Calendar. Once you’re happy with your selection, click Publish to Calendar. Copy the subscription URL and add it once to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook — your calendar will update automatically every time you publish from then on.
7
Sending a Ready Subject. Click 📧 Ready on any event, select your approximate appearance time, and tap Create Draft. Your default mail app opens instantly with the clerk’s email address, correct subject line, and body already filled in — just hit Send. No account connection required.
